Nine Blocks is a puzzle game inspired by the classic mechanics of Sudoku and block puzzles, where players place and clear blocks on a 9x9 grid. How long can you last before the board is full?
In Nine Blocks, you are given a 9x9 grid and a random set of three blocks for each turn. You will have to carefully think about where to put each block since you can only see three at a time.
Your goal is to arrange these blocks into the grid in a way that completes full rows, columns, or 3x3 squares, similar to Sudoku.
Fill in whole horizontal rows, vertical columns, or 3x3 squares to get points and free up room. When you clear more lines or boxes at once, you get more points.
The game ends when there is no more room to place any more blocks. That is when your turn ends. Avoid blocking useful areas too early. Think about how your choices will affect future turns.
Use Boosters and Assists
Use tools like bombs to clear space when you're feeling stuck, swap blocks you don't want, or remove a piece that doesn't fit.
Don't Waste Trash
If a block doesn't fit anywhere, you can trash it for a new one. Use this option wisely—it could save your turn.
Think Ahead
Don't just look at the current blocks—consider how they might affect the shape of the board later. Keep the middle and main rows open so you have more flexibility.
